The Laszlos feel the fallout from Alec’s retaliation against Clay Street. The Chinese want blood or money, and the police want justice. Grace convinces Jimmy to take pre-emptive action by walking into the police station on his own volition and denying his family’s involvement. Grace uses this distraction to steal cell phones from his crew and asks Mitch to run for location and call histories. Alec’s wife, Cathy, encourages him to take charge and stop asking for Jimmy’s approval. Alec in an attempt to make up for his misstep, kills his two crew members responsible for the firebombing. Grace has a fight with her husband, Tom, who can’t understand her obsession with finding their son’s killer. Grace and Mitch discovers another link between one of Jimmy’s associates and Sam’s shooting.
